Be led by someone who nose

Through the years, a warm welcome has always awaited our peaty pilgrims, notably in the form of a warming dram, as well as a friendly greeting from Jackie and the team at the Visitor Centre. Whether you’re an Ardbeginner or a seasoned connoisseur, come and learn more about our wonderful whisky and explore our beautiful Distillery on one of our fascinating tours. Enjoy a delicious bite to eat in the Old Kiln Café and have a look around the shop – you can redeem your tour voucher for £5 against any bottle in our Core Range.

We’re used to having four seasons in one day here on Islay, so we’ve split our tours to match. Don’t worry though, whichever season you visit you can be sure of a tour to suit…

Some things to note:

We’d love to welcome you every day of the year, but there are some dates we have to close – please check HERE for details.

Our Visitor Centre and Old Kiln Café are fully accessible for those with limited mobility, but due to the nature of the old Distillery buildings, some tours and tastings may be a little trickier to get around. Please contact us if you want to check any details for your visit.

We adore all dogs (our mascot is Shortie after all!) but we’ve found our busy Visitor Centre and Café aren’t the best place for them so we’re only able to welcome them in the grounds of the Distillery, not the buildings.

(*We undertake essential maintenance during parts of December and January which means we can’t always take you on tours, but our cosy Visitor Centre and Café are open, so come in for a table tasting, coffee, lunch or just a chat!)
