Open seven days a week 9.30am – 5.00pm



Our Visitor Centre offers a selection of drams, DIY tastings and cocktails, plus a wide range of whiskies and merchandise. 

It’s advisable to book tours or guided tastings in advance to avoid disappointment.

Step behind the scenes and into the heart of whisky-making on this guided journey through our Distillery. From the mash tun to the spirit stills, you’ll gain access to every stage of our production process, accompanied by one of our passionate and imaginative guides. 


Uniquely, you’ll enjoy a guided tasting of three of our Core Range Ardbeg whiskies as you move through the Distillery, experiencing the sights, smells, and flavours of each dram in real time.

As a highlight of this experience, you’ll enjoy a guided tasting of three limited edition whiskies at carefully chosen points in the tour, savouring the aromas, flavours, and stories behind each dram as you explore.

While there’s some work underway in our production areas, we’ve crafted an experience for you: a guided tasting of all five Core Range whiskies, enjoyed in style in one of our tasting rooms.


Forget the mash tun and spirit stills for now; this is all about the sights, smells, and flavours of our whiskies, brought to life by one of our passionate and knowledgable guides. Engaging, entertaining, and deliciously Ardbeggian.

As you wander, you’ll savour a selection of whiskies that reflect our past and present, from treasured old and rare drams to some of our finest modern creations. Along the way, we’ll share the stories behind the whiskies and the legends that make this place so special.


Perfect for whisky lovers and history enthusiasts alike, this is an experience to linger over. Spaces are limited, so book now to make your weekend one to remember.

Embark on an exclusive whisky journey with Drams in Detail, where every corner of our Distillery reveals something new and exciting. This immersive tasting experience invites you to explore the hidden gems of our Distillery, with stops in carefully selected areas that hold a story and a flavour profile all their own.


As you move around the Distillery, you’ll taste a range of exceptional whiskies, including rare Committee bottlings and past releases that are no longer available. Each dram showcases a distinct flavour profile, highlighting the depth and complexity of our craft. From rich, peaty notes to sweet, fruity layers, this tasting offers something for every whisky lover.


Not really a tour, but more than just a tasting, this is a chance to slow down, connect with the essence of our Distillery, and savour the drams that tell the story of our craft. It’s an experience that’s all about you—the whisky, the space, and the stories behind them.

THE STILLHOUSE & WAREHOUSE 3 TASTING

£75 per person / Lasts around 1 hour 30 mins / 4x15ml drams and a taste of new make spirit included / No driver’s drams / Over 18’s only


If you love tasting whisky and immersing yourself in the heart of distillery life, this experience is for you. Start in the stillhouse, where you’ll sample our vibrant new make spirit at its purest. 

Then, unlock the doors to dunnage Warehouse 3 with your own hands, step in, and wield a valinch to draw extraordinary drams straight from the cask. Surrounded by barrels, butts, and barriques, you’ll savour whiskies brimming with depth and character. This is a tasting adventure with no frills—just great spirit, bold flavours, and unforgettable moments.

Our Visitor Centre is open Monday-Friday over the Winter, offering you the perfect chance to dive into Ardbeg's exceptional whiskies. We'll give you a quick introduction to the drams, then leave you to savour them at your own pace.
