Open Monday to Friday 9:30am - 5:00pm


We are completely closed on the following dates:

20th December 2025 – 4th January 2026 (inclusive)



Classic Tours will be offered throughout December and January, however, due to essential maintenance there will be some weeks where there will be no spirit in production. We will still travel throughout the full process.



Our Visitor Centre offers a selection of drams, DIY tastings and cocktails, plus a wide range of whiskies and merchandise.

 

It’s advisable to book tours or guided tastings in advance to avoid disappointment.

THE CLASSIC ARDBEG TOUR - with core range drams

Step behind the scenes and into the heart of whisky-making on this guided journey through our Distillery. From milling to distilling, you’ll gain access to every stage of our production process, accompanied by one of our passionate and imaginative guides.


Uniquely, you’ll enjoy a guided tasting of three of our Core Range whiskies as you move through the Distillery, experiencing the sights, smells, and flavours of each dram in real time.

Step into the world of whisky-making with an immersive guided tour through our Distillery. From milling to distilling, discover every step of our time-honoured process, led by one of our knowledgeable and spirited guides.


As a highlight of this experience, you’ll enjoy a guided tasting of three limited edition whiskies at carefully chosen points in the tour, savouring the aromas, flavours, and stories behind each dram as you explore.

WINTER WAREHOUSE TASTING

TIME: 12:30pm

£60 per person / Lasts around 1 hour 15 mins / Includes 4 x 15ml drams / No under 18’s / Drivers drams not available



Journey to Warehouse 3 for an immersive tasting of whiskies straight from the cask. Your guide will delve deep inside the liquid story of each of the four expressions you’ll taste during this experience.


Nobody really comes to Islay for the weather, but they do for the whisky – so please wrap up nice and warm for this experience!

Our Visitor Centre is open Monday-Friday over the Winter, offering you the perfect chance to dive into Ardbeg's exceptional whiskies. Choose from a curated tasting flight, tailored to suit both curious newcomers and seasoned whisky lovers. We'll give you a quick introduction to the drams, then leave you to savour them at your own pace.


Whether you're short on time, seeking a taste of something special, or simply eager to explore our range, there's no need to book - just drop in and enjoy.
