Step behind the scenes and into the heart of whisky-making on this guided journey through our Distillery. From the mash tun to the spirit stills, you’ll gain access to every stage of our production process, accompanied by one of our passionate and imaginative guides. 

You’ll enjoy a guided tasting of three of our Core Range Ardbeg whiskies as you move through the Distillery, experiencing the sights, smells, and flavours of each dram in real time.

Step into dunnage Warehouse 3, surrounded by barrels, butts, and barriques and wielding a valinch to draw extraordinary drams straight from the cask. You’ll savour whiskies brimming with depth and character. 

This is a tasting adventure with great spirit, bold flavours, and unforgettable moments.

Join us for a leisurely walk around the local area for a journey through time and flavour. Prepare to hear stories blending the rich history of our Distillery, the fascinating tales of our people, and the folklore of our surroundings – all brought to life by our warm and knowledgeable hosts.

As we wander, you’ll savour a selection of whiskies that reflect Ardbeg’s past and present, from exceptionally old and rare drams to some of our finest modern creations. Along the way, we’ll share the stories behind the whiskies and the some of the legends that make Islay so special.

Perfect for whisky lovers and history enthusiasts alike, this is an experience to linger over. Spaces are limited, so book now to make your weekend one to remember.

NOTE: Outdoor footwear and weather appropriate clothing needed. The walk may be cancelled at short notice in the event of bad weather. Under 18’s allowed at parent/guardian’s discretion.
