THESE TOURS ARE AVAILABLE FROM APRIL – MAY 2020

As the days start to lengthen and the flowers start to bloom, the birds flock to Islay to spend some time on our wee Island. They don’t tend to want Distillery tours though, which leaves more for you to enjoy!

THE ARDBEG DISTILLERY TOUR & WEE TASTE

TIME: 10am OR 3pm
DAYS: Monday – Sunday
£10 per person / lasts around 1 hour
Informative and fun tour of the Distillery with a dram of your choice from our core range at the end. Great introduction to Ardbeg.

THE ARDBEG FULL RANGE TOUR & TASTING

TIME: 11am
DAYS: Monday – Sunday
£25 per person / lasts around 1 hour 45 minutes
A detailed tour of the Distillery followed by a tasting of five different drams in the Chairman’s Study (Our core range of Ardbeg Ten Years Old, Ardbeg An Oa, Ardbeg Uigeadail and Ardbeg Corryvreckan, plus one Expression chosen by your guide.)

THE ARDBEG BOG OFF WALK

TIME: 11am
DAYS: Wednesday only
£65 per person / lasts around 3 hours
We’ve been bogging off at Ardbeg for years. Join our local guide for a hike over the hills; drink in the landscape, enjoy a picnic lunch along with some exquisite drams and listen to some small and tall tales about Ardbeg and Islay before returning to the Distillery. Feel the peat beneath your feet!
Note: you will need sturdy footwear and weather appropriate clothing. We may have to cancel the walk at short notice if the elements dictate it.

THE C6H5OH SMOKIN’ TASTING

TIME: 11.30am
DAYS: Monday – Friday only
£35 per person / lasts around 1 hour
Ardbeg is consistently the smokiest dram on Islay. Come and take a dive into the world of phenols, guaiacols and creosols – we would like to introduce you to our smoky Ardbeggian universe. Taste three whiskies in our tasting POD. No tour, just an hour of learning all about smoke!

THE ARDBIG TOUR AND ARDBIG TASTING AT TWO

TIME: 2pm
DAYS: Monday – Sunday
£50 per person / lasts around 2 hours 30 minutes
Complete tour with tales, timings, temperatures, traditions, tuns and a tantalising tasting in Warehouse 3. Try some very unusual samples and some old favourites. Relaxed and informal – the most all-round Ardbeg experience.

THE ARDBEG BUS TOP TASTING

TIME: 5.30pm
DAYS: Friday only
£65 per person / lasts around 1 hour 30 minutes
Climb aboard our 1967 Routemaster bus with your Ardbeg conductor and enjoy a sweet laid-back tasting and chat about all things Ardbeggian. Learn more about Ardbeg’s history and journey through the Islay whisky landscape. Taste four drams along with some delicious chocolates. Yum. (Tasting only, no tour.)

THE SINGLE CASK DINNER

TIME: 7pm
DAYS: Monday 20th April and Wednesday 20th May
£130 per person / lasts around 4 hours
Join us after hours for a truly Ardbeggian experience that embodies the warmth and wit of Ardbeg. Held under the pagodas in the Old Kiln Café, you’ll be accompanied by some of the folk who make our delicious whisky for a magnificent dinner matched with an exceptional tasting. Share stories with your fellow guests and take advantage of the exclusive chance to buy one of our very rare single cask bottles.
*Limited places available for these very intimate evenings – please book at least seven days in advance

THE TABLE TASTINGS

TIME: 10am – 12pm OR 2pm – 4pm
DAYS: Monday – Sunday
Informal tastings are available in the Old Kiln Café. Pick from one of our four tasting flights – we’ll briefly talk you through the whiskies then leave you to enjoy them at your leisure. Great if you are on the move, wish an introduction to Ardbeg’s whiskies or if you want something a bit special to try! No booking required.

FEIS ILE

Feis Ile takes place from 23rd – 30th May 2020. Details of our special tours and events will be available towards the end of March, along with details of how to book.
